The Double U Barr Ranch, located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, is a romantic, bed and breakfast hideaway with a western flair in Bandera, Texas, the "Cowboy Capital of the World". Friendly! We treat you like "family".

We feature two cabins: the Cowboy Cabin and the Texan. Also a large covered pavilion is available for special events, BBQ or to just relax and party!

The Double U Barr Ranch is a 42 acre working ranch with longhorn cattle, horses (not for guest riding) and a variety of small animals.

Enjoy gazing at the big Texas sky where the stars are big and bright, relax around a campfire, hunt for fossils or catch sight of many beautiful birds, deer, armadillos and other wildlife.

You can swim and tube in the creek (seasonal), or if you bring along a fishing pole, you might just catch a big one! (Catch and release fishing). A paddle boat is also available.

Panoramic hilltop views for photography are just a few steps from your door. Smoke-free indoor environment. "Kid Friendly".

Served in the main house, a Big Texas Breakfast is included. Among numerous other breakfast items, every morning will include one of the following meats: Alsatian Sausage, Buffalo, Boudin, Pork Chops, Pork Sausage, Steak or Venison. Weddings, hayrides, special events/meals and tour guides for local attractions are all negotiable. Complimentary drinks and snacks.

Rates: Cowboy Cabin - $160/night, The Texan - $160/night; double occupancy; $25/night additional person (+12% state/county tax).
